Building Better Investment Tools Since 2018
We started Yrillventex because managing investments manually felt like trying to navigate without GPS. There had to be a smarter way to help everyday investors make decisions without spending hours staring at spreadsheets or second-guessing every move.
Our team built the first version of our automation platform in a small office in St Thomas. It wasn't perfect, but it worked. And more importantly, it helped real people manage their portfolios without needing a finance degree or a full-time analyst on speed dial.
How We Got Here
The path from idea to reality had its share of surprises. Some good, some challenging. All of them taught us something valuable about what investors actually need.
The Beginning
Started with three people and one clear problem to solve. Investment automation shouldn't require expensive advisors or complex software that takes weeks to understand.
First Real Users
Launched our beta with 47 users who weren't afraid to tell us what needed fixing. Their feedback shaped everything from our interface design to our risk assessment algorithms.
Platform Rebuild
Completely rewrote our core systems based on what we learned. The new version handled portfolio rebalancing three times faster and gave users way more control over their strategy preferences.
Expanding Our Reach
Now serving over 2,800 active users across Canada. We've added features for tax-loss harvesting, dividend reinvestment automation, and custom alert systems that people actually use.
What Drives Our Work
Investment automation sounds technical, and honestly, parts of it are. But the goal isn't to wow people with complexity. It's to remove friction from the investment process so you can focus on your financial goals instead of mechanical tasks.
We've seen too many people avoid investing because it felt overwhelming. Or they'd start, get frustrated with the time commitment, and give up. That's the gap we're trying to fill.
Our platform handles the repetitive stuff—rebalancing, dividend tracking, performance monitoring—while you maintain full control over the big decisions. Because automation should support your strategy, not replace your judgment.
What We Stand For
Transparency Over Marketing Hype
We show you exactly what our systems do and how they make decisions. No black boxes, no mysterious algorithms that supposedly beat the market. Just clear logic you can understand and trust.
Your Data Stays Yours
We don't sell your information to advertisers or third parties. Your portfolio details, transaction history, and investment preferences remain confidential. That's not negotiable for us.
Realistic Expectations
Investment automation helps with efficiency and consistency. It doesn't guarantee returns or eliminate market risk. We're upfront about what our tools can and can't do because long-term relationships require honesty.
Support When You Need It
Technical questions get answered by people who actually understand the platform, not scripted responses from offshore call centers. Our support team includes developers who can troubleshoot real issues.
The People Behind Yrillventex
We're a small team split between developers, financial analysts, and customer support specialists. Most of us came from larger financial institutions where we saw the disconnect between what technology could do and what most investors had access to.

Our Development Team
The engineering side includes former fintech developers who built trading systems for institutional clients. They understand the technical requirements for handling financial data securely and processing transactions reliably. Most of our codebase gets reviewed by at least two people before deployment.
Financial Analysis Group
Three certified financial analysts who design our automation strategies and risk models. They test every new feature against historical market data and help users understand how different automation settings might affect their portfolios under various conditions.
Customer Success Team
Five people who handle everything from technical troubleshooting to helping new users set up their first automated strategies. They field about 60 questions daily and their feedback directly influences our product roadmap.
Why We Work Here
Ask anyone on the team and they'll probably mention autonomy and problem-solving. We're small enough that individual contributions matter. When someone identifies a better way to handle portfolio rebalancing or improves our notification system, those changes ship quickly.
What We're Building Next
Our roadmap for early 2026 includes expanded tax optimization features and better integration with Canadian brokerage accounts. We're also testing a new dashboard that shows portfolio performance across multiple time horizons without overwhelming people with charts.
The goal remains consistent: make investment automation accessible without dumbing it down. Give people professional-grade tools they can actually use.
