Investment Automation Learning Program

Getting comfortable with automated investment strategies takes more than reading a few articles. Our program walks you through the fundamentals of systematic portfolio management and helps you understand how automation actually works in practice.

We've designed this training for Canadian investors who want to move beyond manual trading without losing control of their financial decisions. You'll learn to build reliable automation frameworks that match your risk tolerance and investment timeline.

How We Structure Learning

Most investment courses throw theory at you without showing how it connects to your actual portfolio. We start with your current setup and gradually introduce automation concepts that make sense for your situation.

Each module builds on what you've already learned. By the third week, you're working with real market data and testing strategies in simulated environments before committing any capital.

  • Weekly live sessions where we review market conditions and adjust approaches together
  • Access to our testing platform that mirrors real trading environments without financial risk
  • Small cohort sizes that allow for personalized feedback on your automation setup
  • Practical assignments based on current market scenarios rather than outdated case studies

Program Progression

1

Foundation Building (Weeks 1-4)

We cover portfolio analysis and risk assessment before touching automation tools. You'll learn to identify which parts of your strategy benefit from automation and which need human judgment. Most participants discover they've been overcomplicating their approach.

2

System Implementation (Weeks 5-8)

This phase focuses on building your first automated strategy. You'll work with allocation algorithms and rebalancing schedules while learning to set appropriate safety parameters. We emphasize testing and validation rather than rushing to deploy.

3

Advanced Optimization (Weeks 9-12)

Now you're refining systems based on performance data and adjusting for changing market conditions. We introduce more sophisticated techniques for tax optimization and multi-account coordination that many investors overlook.

4

Independent Management (Ongoing)

After program completion, you'll have working automation systems and the knowledge to maintain them. We provide six months of follow-up support and quarterly check-ins to help you navigate market shifts and system updates.
